Guri tells Yahoo how he prepared for his role as Stefan, The role comes from Romania over 3,000 years ago. They didnt have the same Romanian dialect as it is today because 3,000 years ago there was Greek, Roman, and Slavic influences. We had to learn Romanian dialect, switch it around, and add those things in so it would be a little more genuine to the time when they were human. That was the hardest thing because it doesnt exist. You have to make it up.

That was the hardest thing, along with learning about those times 3,000 years ago. How was life then? How did they do things? They used to rule the vampire world so they were more royal. For 1,500 years theyve been kicked out and beat by the Volturi. Youve got the royal behavior and thought but theyve been exiled. They dont have that royalty anymore. Some of them just want the revenge. Its all those things. They used to have wives.

Twilight New Moon – Fanboys haven’t been fond of the Twilight movies, never more so than at Comic-Con a few years ago, when Twi-hards squatted in Hall H so early for the New Moon panel that the comparatively less ardent geeks hoping to catch a glimpse at Tron Legacy were shut out. Both movies were equally wooden, but ever since, fanboys with no stake in the Twilight franchise have assumed a condescending position toward the women who love it, insisting that the relationship-heavy lessons imparted in the Kristen Stewart series (and especially the latest installment, Breaking Dawn – Part 1) are actually damaging to girls. And look, Vulture isn’t inclined to disagree with the haters There is plenty of not-great stuff in Twilight, including the actual filmmaking! But the thing that gets our goat is when these fanboys exclaim that Twilight sets a bad example for women, despite the fact that their own cherished franchises like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings have one significant failing in that regard.

Twilight New Moon – The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn, starringRobert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart,was the overwhelming winner at the weekend box office, but the film failed to break the film franchises previous opening record of 142.8 million for New Moon. In a shock to no one, more than 80 percent of the weekend box office opening crowd for Breaking Dawn was female. The latest Twilight film may have not been a record-breaker, but it did manage to rake in 139.5 million at the weekend box office. This whooping total in ticket sales landed Breaking Dawn the fifth-largest opening weekend in the U.S. after Harry Potter andThe DealthyHallows Part 2, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 3 and The Twilight Saga New Moon. Even though The Twilight Saga books and films have a huge teenage following, more than 60 percent of the audience for Breaking Dawns opening weekend was over 21. Only 30 percent of the crowds for the films opening weekend were under 18.

Even though Breaking Dawn wasnt a record-breaker, Summit Entertainment is still on track to pull in an estimated 300 million in box office revenue from the latest Twilight film frachise installment. Breaking Dawn has also grossed 144 million in ticket sales in 54 foreign territories, according to CNN.com, making its worldwide opening revenue an astounding 283.5 million. Coming in a far distant second at the weekend box office was Warner Bros. 3-D animated film Happy Feet Two at only 22 million. Rounding out the top five were Immortals at 12.3 million, Adam Sandlers Jack and Jill at 12 million and Puss in Boots at 10.7 million.

Twilight New Moon – CHICAGO – The bad news for the cast of “Twilight” is that filming of the series has wrapped, and the actors likely will never reprise their most famous roles to date. The good news? They no longer have to wear those ridiculous wigs again. While the actors on hand for the “Twilight” cast and concert tour last week at Chicago’s House of Blues couldn’t agree on whose wig looked the silliest (I vote for Taylor Lautner’s long locks in 2008’s “Twilight” – his ‘do would make Nicolas Cage cringe), nearly all of them agreed that the wigs were uncomfortable to wear. “One of the nice things about being done with this character is that I finally get to stop wearing white make-up, annoying contacts and sometimes a wig,” said Jackson Rathbone, who wore a wig in 2009’s “The Twilight Saga New Moon” and 2010’s “The Twilight Saga Eclipse.” “Have you ever tried wearing a wig? It’s fun for one day. Now imagine wearing that same wig for seven months straight. It gets a little annoying.” Brunette Nikki Reed dyed her hair in the original “Twilight” but wore a wig in the rest of the films. Peter Facinelli also dyed his hair blond and wore a wig during the series (he was filming Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” while shooting the last three “Twilight” films).

Which did he prefer? “I prefer dying it,” Facinelli said. “I didn’t like wearing (the wig). It feels foreign and uncomfortable. It makes your job harder. You feel like you’re in a Halloween costume. My job was to pretend like it’s not there.” Ashley Greene wore four different wigs – one for each installment – beginning with her Dido-like chopped hair in the original “Twilight.” She didn’t seem to mind them, but she also had input on her short-hair wig in the upcoming “Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn” films. “This last (wig) was a collaboration with (director) Bill Condon,” Greene said. “Luckily he had the same vision I had for Alice (Cullen).

HollywoodLife.com spoke with New Moon director Chris Weitzon Nov. 8 at a lunch honoring his new film A Better Life and he tells us that the big question is whether Twilight fans will be able to let Edward and Robert go separate paths after the final Breaking Dawn flick hits theaters. The really big question vis–visTwilight fans whether to let Edward Cullen exist in one part of their hearts and let Rob Pattinson you know grow past his vampuric young age in another part of their hearts. They are going to grow as an audience too inevitably and I think they will. I hope they will. Twilight New Moon – Shortly after midnight tonight, throngs of Twihards will be pounding their iPads, Smartphones and laptops to book advance tickets to see the next franchise installment Breaking Dawn Part 1. A full seven weeks before the movie opens on November 18. Although there wont be any traditional crazed-fan line-ups around LA tonight at the vampire hour, trust us, the Twilight gang will be there, lurking in the virtual shadows. And come Monday morning, there will also almost certainly be news quantifying the frenetic pace with which this group visited the website of Santa Monica based online ticket behemoth Fandango.com. Fan site Twilight Lexicon told FishbowlLA they expect this weekends activity to easily surpass that of 2010s Eclipse but not necessarily the advance excitement triggered by the original movie in the series, 2009s New Moon. The latter stands as Fandangos all-time record-holder for advance ticket sales. Still, a recent Fandango.com poll identifiedBreaking Dawn Part 1 as this falls most anticipated movie. Translation hold on to your garlic strands.

Twilight New Moon – As noted back in July, Volvo Cars USA has been putting together another Twilight Saga promotion, this time for The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn – Part 1. With The Twilight Saga New Moon, the promotional game was called “What Drives Edward,” and for The Twilight Saga Eclipse, it was “Lost in Forks.” This time, for Breaking Dawn – Part 1, it’s called “Journey to the Wedding.” According to Yahoo!, starting Saturday, October 15th, Twilight fans will be able to register for the game, the prize for which is a trip to Rio de Janeiro (the setting of part of “Bella” and “Edward’s” honeymoon) “to stay in the same luxurious house where Edward and Bella spent their honeymoon.” Additionally, up for grabs through Volvo’s contest is “the actual 325 HP Volvo S60 R-Design that Edward drove in the fourth installment of the film franchise.”

Twilight New Moon – People Magazine is currently releasing a The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn – Part 1-related Special Collector’s Edition, as they have in years past for The Twilight Saga New Moon and The Twilight Saga Eclipse. The book has begun to hit shelves, and of the new items featured in the publication, one is a new still image of “Bella” (Kristen Stewart) and “Alice Cullen” (Ashley Greene) as “Bella ditches her Converse” and tries on her wedding shoes. Beautiful, yes? It’s somewhat hard to see them in this preview image, but they look adorable. It is a first for her in heels (at least in the film franchise), so that’s kind of exciting. Also, this image indicates – as Jack Morrissey hinted last week – that the “Alice/Bella” bond will be more in focus for this film. You like?

Taylor Lautner. Taylor Lautner is more known for his hard rock abs and butter loving chest than his werewolf pose. But one has to admit, the character of Jacob Black does a howling job compared to American Werewolf of London. Jacob Black was an ingredient to evolve “New Moon” to the hit it continues to be today. “New Moon”’s battle scenes mark the movie’s highlights. Although most often wonder why Lautner didn’t just bounce the bad vampires off of his massive hunk chest.

But then the movie may be lucky to reach an hour in length. Ashley Greene. Ashley Greene offers little girls a new hairstyle and refreshing attitude to go along with need to feed on human blood in her portrayal of Alice Cullen. Go ask Alice seems to be the key additive in “New Moon”. Alice knows many things inside of her head.

Ashley Greene portrays Alice beautifully.Unique and appealing, Alice defines the one with a vision. And what vampire movie wouldn’t include the mind reading story teller?Meet Alice. Another “New Moon” character bringing more to the big screen. Billy Burke. Billy Burke is the cool daddy trying to understand his child and her need for distance. Just asin “Eclipse”, Billy Burke offers the down to earth security twist that every movie usually includes.But with “New Moon”, casting gets high marks from me for hiring Burke. They could have gone with an obnoxious character portrayal but remained true to the book character.

This character defines the small town guy trying to make a difference in a small town world as his daughter decides on whether to become a vampire or a human.

Twilight New Moon – Overnight, he became Hollywoods It Teen. Thats when scripts started coming in and I started reading a lot. I was picky, he said. I wanted to do something I was really passionate about and a story I wanted to tell. When I heard the story of Abduction, it excited me. In the movie opening tomorrow, Lautner plays Nathan, a teenager who discovers hes not who he thinks he is and his life, not just his identity, is endangered. Just the story and the journey that the character goes through excited me; it sounds like a really exciting movie. Then when I read the script I thought, Wow! This will challenge me physically and emotionally, stretch me as an actor. I also knew with all the action and stunt work it would be a lot of fun. Lautner began training three months before the Pittsburgh filming. There was a lot of physical preparation and emotional and mental. I got a boxing coach, a wrestling trainer and a motorcycle trainer.

I wanted to make sure I looked like I knew what I was doing when I got there. The most difficult of the three, he said, was probably boxing. Id done martial arts all my life beginning at age 6 in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich. and its very different than boxing. But its such a great workout, I loved it. All this and hes just 19 whats that ride been like? Oh man, absolutely amazing. I have had the time of my life the past few years.

I still have to pinch myself today that Im not dreaming.
