Twilight New Moon – Robert Pattinson, on the set of Water for Elephants, accepts the National Movie Award for Best Performance Chris Weitzs The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which is up for several MTV Movie Awards early next month, was voted Best Fantasy at the British equivalent of the US-based Peoples Choice Awards: the National Movie Awards, held this evening in London. Another movie franchise also fared well at the National Movie Awards. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was voted Best Family Movie, while the series itself received the Special Recognition Award. Both Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe attended the ceremony. Tom Cruise was awarded the Screen Icon award. Starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, Sherlock Holmes was the Best Action Movie / Thriller, while The Time Travelers Wife was the Best Breakthrough Movie.
