Twilight New Moon – Shortly after midnight tonight, throngs of Twihards will be pounding their iPads, Smartphones and laptops to book advance tickets to see the next franchise installment Breaking Dawn Part 1. A full seven weeks before the movie opens on November 18. Although there wont be any traditional crazed-fan line-ups around LA tonight at the vampire hour, trust us, the Twilight gang will be there, lurking in the virtual shadows. And come Monday morning, there will also almost certainly be news quantifying the frenetic pace with which this group visited the website of Santa Monica based online ticket behemoth Fandango.com. Fan site Twilight Lexicon told FishbowlLA they expect this weekends activity to easily surpass that of 2010s Eclipse but not necessarily the advance excitement triggered by the original movie in the series, 2009s New Moon. The latter stands as Fandangos all-time record-holder for advance ticket sales. Still, a recent Fandango.com poll identifiedBreaking Dawn Part 1 as this falls most anticipated movie. Translation hold on to your garlic strands.
